Obverse: 
The obverse of the coin carries an image of the Coat of Arms in the centre and the name of the state "Lietuva" under it. Below, a year of issue is positioned symmetrically to the inscription "LIETUVA". The coin has the rim, the inner side of which is plain.
Reverse: 
The reverse shows the number "1" on the right side. To the left off the number "1" there is a square ornament with triangle tulips on each angle. In the centre of the pattern a symbol of Gediminas pillars is placed. In the bottom part of the coin the word "CENTAS" is positioned symmetrically to the vertical axis of the coin. The coin has the rim, the inner side of which is plain.
