New Belarus coin Crocus

The National Bank of Belarus on November 25th, 2013 puts into circulation new silver commemorative coin “Crocus", from coin series .

Face value of the silver coin is 10 roubles, purity 925, weight 14.14 g. diameter 32.00 mm, proof quality. Mintage 8000 pcs.

Obverse:
In the central part of the coin – an image of a bouquet of flowers. On the left: a multi-coloured image of two pansies – the next flowers of the series. In the upper part of the coin – the national emblem of the issuer. Along the rim – inscriptions: РЭСПУБЛIКА БЕЛАРУСЬ (Republic of Belarus), 10 РУБЛЁЎ (the face value), M/W (the mint mark), 2013 (the year of issue), Ag 925 (the hallmark).

Reverse:
In the central part of the coin – a multi-coloured image of a crocus. In the background – a piece of a crocus recreated in relief. Below it, along the rim – an inscription: CROCUS (the name of the sunflower in Latin).
