Sagittarius

This gold commemorative coin depicting Sagittarius has been issued by the Central Bank of Armenia under the International Program “The Signs of Zodiac”. Sagittarius is a large southern constellation located in the brightest part of the Milky Way. It is the ninth sign of Zodiac. The most distinctive aspect of Sagittarius is the group of stars within it, which look like a teapot, complete with spout and handle. Sagittarius is often thought to represent a centaur, half man, half horse, and is associated with a mythological Chiron. However, Sagittarius holds a drawn bow, not typical for Chiron, who was known for his kindness and wisdom. The astrological period called Sagittarius takes the period from November 23 to December 21. The coin issued with colored inks.
