First Space Satellite of the Earth. Date of issue 4 May 2007 Bicolour (compound) coin circle-shaped is consisted of a ring and a disk. Inner disk is made of tantalum, external ring is made of silver.

Obverse: A composition that symbolizes unity of a man and the universe, bonds of past and present is placed in the center of the coin. Right sector indicates the face value "500 ТЕҢГЕ". Under the face value there is two-lined inscription "Ag 925  14.6 gr.  Та 26.8 gr.", which means the metals, fineness and weight of the metals. On the circumference there are two inscriptions "ҚАЗАҚСТАН ҰЛТТЫҚ БАНКІ» and «NATIONAL BANK OF KAZAKHSTAN», divided by dots.
Reverse: 
Reverse: An image of the first space satellite of the Earth. “1957-2007” in the lower part means year of the launch of the satellite to the orbit of the Earth and the year of coinage in the lower part. The name of the coin is indicated in Kazakh "ТҰҢҒЫШ ЖАСАНДЫ ЖЕР СЕРІГІ" and in English "THE FIRST SPACE SATELLITE OF THE EARTH". Inscriptions are divided by dots.
