In the center – the image of Spaso–preobrazhenskaya church which has been based sacred Euphrosyne of Polotsk; beneath it is an inscription СПАСА–ПРААБРАЖЭНСКАЯ ЦАРКВА (Spaso–preobrazhenskaya church); at the left – the relief of the State Coat of Arms of the Republic of Belarus and inscription "РЭСПУБЛIКА БЕЛАРУСЬ" (REPUBLIC OF BELARUS) in two lines, below fine silver alloy standard; on the right – face value of a coin 1000 "ТЫСЯЧА РУБЛЁЎ" (1000 ROUBLES) and a year of issue under it.
Reverse: 
The relief image of The Euphrosyne's of Polotsk cross, covered with gold and decorated with 17 multi–coloured artificial stones; at the left and to the right of the image of the Cross – vertical inscriptions: КРЫЖ ЕЎФРАСІННІ ПОЛАЦКАЙ 1161 (The Euphrosyne's of Polotsk cross).
