Gabiden Mustafin

Date of issue: 29 October 2002. Edge: 10 sectors of corrugation. Coin devoted to the 100th anniversary of Gabiden Mustafin. Gabiden Mussafin (1902 - 1985) was Kazakh writer, public figure, national writer of Kazakhstan (1984), academician of the Academy of Sciences (1984). His novels are "Shiganak" (1945), "Karaganda" (1952), "After storm" (1959); autobiographic novel " Eye-witness" (part 1, 1963).

Obverse: 
On the face of the coin (averse), on its upper side the state emblem of the Republic of Kazakhstan is located and under it there is a two-line inscription "50 ТЕҢГЕ". From the right and left side of the denomination there is the element of national ornament. On the circumference there is the legend "ҚАЗАҚСТАН YЛТТЫҚ БАНКI" (National Bank of Kazakhstan).
Reverse: 
On the back side of the coin, on its central part the portrait of Gabiden Mustafin is represented. From the left side of the portrait - the date of his birth "1902" and under it there is the year of coinage. At the topside, along the circle there is an inscription "ҒАБИДЕН МҰСТАФИН". At the bottom side there is a facsimile of the writer.
