Kateryna Bilokour

The coin is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Kateryna V. Bilokour (1900-1961), the glorious daughter of Ukrainian people, People's artist of Ukraine, who devoted all her life to flowers, immortalizing them on her canvases, regarding  them as  eyes of the Earth, as her children. In circulation since November 28, 2000.

Obverse: 
On the coin obverse there is the Small State Emblem of Ukraine, floral field, made to the motives of artist's canvases,  as well as the inscriptions: УКРАЇНА, 2000, 2, ГРИВНІ and the logo of the Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine.
Reverse: 
On the coin reverse there is the artist's half-lenght portrait, created to the motives of her self-portrait and circular inscriptions: КАТЕРИНА БІЛОКУР and 1900-1961.
