The coins are dedicated to the L'viv state academic opera and ballet theatre named after Ivan Franko, one of the outstanding centers of Ukrainian opera and ballet school. In circulation since October, 17, 2000.

Reverse: 
On the coin reverse there is a depiction of the theatre building and circular inscriptions: ЛЬВІВСЬКИЙ ТЕАТР ОПЕРИ ТА БАЛЕТУ and 100, РОКІВ.
