The image is circled by a stylized ribbon bearing an inscription "ПРИДНЕСТРОВСКИЙ ГОСУДАРСТВЕННЫЙ УНИВЕРСИТЕТ им. Т.Г.ШЕВЧЕНКО" (PRIDNESTROVSKII STATE UNIVERSITY AFTER T.G. SHEVCHENKO) in Cyrillic accomplished by an ornamental branch with leaves.
