In the ancient times there were religions school and library in this mosques. In 1948 the building of the mosque was almost destroyed. At the entrance to the mosque one can read that this building was erected at the times Khorosan Soltan Abul-Kasym Baboor (1446-1457). The other sources that this "Palace of beauty" was built by Muhammed in the memory of his father Jal-ed-Vaddin in 1456-1485. At the fron side of this building the dragon is painted, which is the symbol of one of the Turkmen tribes.
