This gold coin was minted in 2009 to celebrate the 2200th Anniversary of Tashkent city.

Obverse: 
The obverse of the coin features the monument to Happy Mother. There is the inscription "TOSHKENT SHAHRINING" in the shape of a semicircle above the monument. The text "2200 YILLIGI" is placed on the lower part of the coin.
Reverse: 
The reverse of the coin bears the Symbol of the Republic of Uzbekistan with a semi-circled text "OʻZBEKISTON RESPUBLIKASI" above it. The number "1000" indicating the denomination of the coin and the currency name "SOʻM" are inscribed under the Symbol. The designation of the metal and the hallmark of an alloy "Au 99,99" as well as the fine weight of the metal "31,1 gr." are shown on the left of the currency name. The year of issue "2009 yil" is placed on the right. The reverse of the coin is encircled by a bead ornament.
