Snow leopard is depicted on the new commemorative coin. The choice fell exactly on this unique animal, as snow leopard is a symbol of Kyrgyzstan nature, of our mountains. The coin belongs to the "Red Book of Kyrgyzstan" series. By issuing the coin the National Bank reminds Kyrgyzstan people to take care of the nature, especially of its rare representatives, which are on the verge of extinction", – Mr. Shamil Aidarkulov, the Head of the Cash Department of the National Bank, said.
