For the Turkic people the cauldron was a symbol of unity and hospitality. Therefore, special emphasis was placed on its size and appearance. Turkestan cauldrons in this regard were unmatched. The most famous is the so-called Taikazan, located in the mausoleum of Ahmed Yasawi in the city of Turkestan. Diameter is 2.45 meters, weight is two tons. According to the legend, the cauldron was made of an alloy of seven metals.
