Amir Timur

Tamerlan (Amir Timur) was the governor and the commander who played an essential role in the history of Central, Southern and the Western Asia, and also the Caucasus, the Volga region and Russia. He was a founder of the empire of Timurids in the capital of Samarkand (1370).

Coins are made with application of technology of drawing gilding on a surface of coins.

Gerasimov, the image of the mausoleum of Ahmed Yasavi constructed under the order of Timur and trade caravan on the second plan; inscriptions  «AMIR TIMUR» in English and «1336-1405» designating years of life of the commander; inscriptions «Ag 925 31.1 g» means metal, standard of coinage and weight.
