Series “Адроджаныя расліны” (Regenerated plants) is prepared by the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus in cooperation with the United Nations Development Programme, the Global Environment Facility, the National Academy of Sciences and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Belarus within the framework of the project “Integration of issues of biodiversity conservation into policy and practice of spacial planning in Belarus”.

Obverse: 
The obverse has: at the top – the relief image of the State Coat of Arms of the Republic of Belarus, and a circumferential inscription: РЭСПУБЛIКА БЕЛАРУСЬ (THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS); in the center within the inner circle – ornamental composition in the form of a flower with four petals, on which the plants included in this series are depicted; beneath – denomination: 20 РУБЛЁЎ (20 RUBLES); on the left-handed side – the year of issue, on the right – alloy standard.
Reverse: 
The reverse has: in the center – the relief ornamental image of the square-stemmed St. John’s wort, on the right-handed and the left-handed sides the fragments of this plant’s stem with its distinctive features are depicted in enlarged view; circumferential inscriptions: at the top – HYPERICUM TETRAPTERUM, on the bottom – СВЯТАЯННІК ЧАТЫРОХКРЫЛЫ (SQUARE-STEMMED ST. JOHN’S WORT).
