The gold coin depicts the Song Stage built in 1960, since its arch has become a symbol of the song festivals. In addition, the reverse of the coin carries its nominal value 100 KROONI. The obverse features the grand national coat of arms of the Republic of Estonia, the text EESTI VABARIIK and the year 2009. The gold collector coin was designed by Merle Kasonen and Triinu Silla. The coin is of pure gold (Au 999/1000) and of Proof Like finish quality. It weighs 7.78 grams and is 22 mm in diameter.
 
The obverse of the silver collector coin depicts a circle of dancing men. They can also be looked at as the wheel of time symbolising the long tradition of song and dance festivals. In addition, the reverse of the coin carries its nominal value 10 KROONI. The obverse features the grand national coat of arms of the Republic of Estonia, the text EESTI VABARIIK and the year 2009. The silver collector coin was designed by Tiiu Pirsko and Mati Veermets. The coin is of pure silver (Ag 999) and of Proof finish quality. It weighs 31.1 grams and is 40.6 mm in diameter.
