Sailing ship Cutty Sark

The “Cutty Sark” was built in 1869 by the Scott & Linton Shipyards west of Glasgow for £16.500. She served as a Tea- and Woolclipper and was said to be one of the fastest Sailships in the world. The “Cutty Sark” was the last clipper which was built as a merchant vessel. In 1954 it was laid on a dry dock in London and serves as a Museum since then. In May 2007 the “Cutty Sark” nearly burnt down completely. Until the end of 2011 the restauration is supposed to be complete and reopened for public.

at the top – the relief of the State Coat of Arms of the Republic of Belarus and inscription "РЭСПУБЛIКА БЕЛАРУСЬ" (REPUBLIC OF BELARUS); in the center at the background of navigation sea chart the stylized image of wind rose with raised hologram; beneath – face value "20 РУБЛЁЎ" (20 ROUBLES) – on silver coin and "1 РУБЕЛЬ" (1 ROUBLE) – on copper–nickel coin; on the right - year of issue, (on silver coin – alloy standard and corporate (commercial) mark of Mint of Poland.

In the centre - an image of Cutty Sark with a sea skyline in the background. Below it a miniature of the ship (side view). On the right side - the inscription: Cutty Sark.
