Great Victory

Commemorative coins "60 YEARS OF GREAT VICTORY" devoted to the 60th anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War.

On May 4, 2005, the National Bank issued the commemorative collection coins "ULUU JENISHKE 60 JYL" (60 YEARS OF GREAT VICTORY) 10 Som denomination into circulation. The collection coins "60 YEARS OF GREAT VICTORY" devoted to the 60th anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War.

The coins are internationally rated as the proof coins and minted from sterling silver. The fineness and the weight of silver (Ag 925/28.28) are indicated in the left part of the head of the coin. The coins have the status of the legal tender in the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic.

To avoid any damage of the coin, it is recommended to keep it in an acrylic capsule. Each coin with a certificate is placed in addition into a separate box.

Obverse:

On the obverse of the coin there is a figure a women - mother, an eternal light and elements of the Victory Memorial Complex (author - T. Sadykov, the People's Artist of the Kyrgyz Republic) are located in the foreground of the head of the coin. A stylized image of a yurt against ridges of Kyrgyzstan is located in the background.

Reverse:

The national emblem of Kyrgyzstan, the year of issue (2005) and the name of the coin are represented on the reverse of the coin.
