in the center – reconstruction of ancient city fortress in Novogorodok (Novogrudok), at the top – the relief of the State Coat of Arms of the Republic of Belarus; along the rim inscription – "РЭСПУБЛIКА БЕЛАРУСЬ" (REPUBLIC OF BELARUS); at the bottom – year of issue, (silver coin – alloy standard) and face value "20 РУБЛЁЎ" (20 ROUBLES) – on silver coin and "1 РУБЕЛЬ" (1 ROUBLE) – on copper–nickel coin.
Reverse: 
in the center – the relief image of Davyd of Garadzen; on the left – the image of stamp, used for official charters, with image of prince Dovgomont Nalshansky ruled by the Christian name of Timofei and by the one of version being father of Davyd of Garadzen; inscription along the rim – ДАВЫД ГАРАДЗЕНСКІ (DAVYD OF GARADZEN) and years of his serve – 1314–1326.
