Graphic design of the coin dedicated to the theatre
The Board of the Bank of Lithuania approved the graphic design of the obverse and reverse of the 10 litas collector (commemorative) silver coin dedicated to the theatre, submitted by Giedrius Paulauskis. The author used a well-known piece of art Teatras created by Stasys Krasauskas, a famous Lithuanian graphic artist in 1961.

The Board also approved the inscription on the edge of the coin:

LIETUVOS KULTURA * MUZIKA * (in Lithuanian: CULTURE OF LITHUANIA *THEATRE*).

The coin is to be issued in the first quarter of 2011.
