New Kazakhstan Coin peacock poppy (Papaver Pavoninum)
The National Bank of Kazakhstan has put into circulation 500 tenge coin dedicated to the peacock poppy (Papaver Pavoninum)  on June 11th, 2010. Coin is from "Flora of Kazakhstan" series.


Face value: 500 tenge

Averse: the composition of leafs; the face value of the coin «500 ТЕҢГЕ»; «Ag 925 31,1 gr.» means metal, standard of coinage and weight; National Bank of Kazakhstan logo; two inscriptions «ҚАЗАҚСТАН ҰЛТТЫҚ БАНКІ» and «NATIONAL BANK OF KAZAKHSTAN».

Reverse: the composition of flowers and buds of poppy, and one of them is depicted as a hologram the name of species «ЖАБАЙЫ КӨКНӘР» in Kazakh and «PAPAVER PAVONINUM» in Latin; «2010» means the year of coinage; trade mark of Kazakhstan mint.

Lateral surface is grooved.

The coin is made with usage of standard 925 silver, weight is 31.1 gr, diameter is 38.61 mm, proof production quality.
