Serhiy Vsekhsviatsky

The coin is dedicated to 100th anniversary of Serhiy Vsekhsviatsky (1905 – 1984), an outstanding Ukrainian astronomical scientist. As the founder of the department for astronomy at the Kyiv national university (1939), during 1939 – 1984 Vsekhsviatsky played a significant role in development and popularizing of the astronomy not only in Ukraine but in the whole world.
