Pectoral

Commemorative coin of 100 Hryvnias denomination is dedicated to the golden Pectoral (4-th century B.C.), the  unsurpassed masterpiece of Hellenic and Scythian art found at the "Tovsta Mohyla" burial mound in Dnepropetrovsk region (1971). The archaeologist Boris M. Mozolevskiy who found this moonlike three-tier decoration of a Scythian tsar called it as "the piece of work of majestic symphonic sounding and deep philosophic meaning. Like a drop of dew it reflects not only the shine of Scythian gold but also the great heart of the whole nation". In circulation since July 28, 2003.
