The National Bank of Belarus on August 8th, 2016 issued into circulation new silver gold plated and CuNi commemorative coins “Olympic Movement in the Republic of Belarus"

 

Silver gold plated coin face value 20 roubles, purity of silver 925, purity of gold 999 total weight 32.62 g.

Coin is round, Diameter is 38.61 mm, the edge is lettered: АЛІМПІЙСКІ РУХ РЭСПУБЛІКІ БЕЛАРУСЬ and national ornament.

Quality of coins is “proof”. Mintage of coin is up to 750 pcs

 

CuNi coin face value 1 rouble, weight 15.5 g.

Coin is round, Diameter is 33 mm, the edge is lettered: АЛІМПІЙСКІ РУХ РЭСПУБЛІКІ БЕЛАРУСЬ and national ornament.

Quality of coins is “proof-like”. Mintage of coin is up to 2.000 pcs

 

Coins are minted at the Lithuanian mint. Designer Oksana Novoselova.

 

Coins are legal tender of Belarus for all debts, public and private without any restriction.
