At the bottom is the "50 ТЕҢГЕ" inscription indicating the denomination of the coin. To the left and to the right of the denomination is the national ornament. Circling the coin is the "ҚАЗАҚСТАН ҰЛТТЫҚ БАНКІ" inscription in the state language.
