Tiraspol

The coins are put into circulation on December 24, 2014. The Dniester Moldavian Republic includes 8 cities, thus, the series consists of 8 coins. The reverse of the coins features distinctive places, highlights and the years of the cities’ foundation. This is the first series of coins for Transnistria made of non-precious metals and minted on its own mint. The coins are issued as a legal gender, but primarily they are commemorative coins.

In the center - the image of the State Emblem of the Dniester Moldavian Republic; along the rim – the inscriptions: on the top – “ПРИДНЕСТРОВСКИЙ РЕСПУБЛИКАНСКИЙ БАНК” (Trans-Dniester Republican Bank), at the bottom – “1 РУБЛЬ” (1 ruble); at the bottom below the Emblem - the year of issue “2014”.
Reverse: 
In the center – the image of the monument of A.V. Suvorov on the background of the Tiraspol fortress’s plan, at the top – the year of the city’s foundation.
