Date of issue: 15 December 1999. Edge: 10 sectors of corrugation. Memorable Coin on the Occasion of the Kazakhstan Ceremonial Entering the Third Millennium.
Obverse:
On the face of the coin (averse), on its upper side the state emblem of the Republic of Kazakhstan is located and under it there is a two-line inscription "50 ТЕҢГЕ". From the right and left side of the denomination there is the element of national ornament. On the circumference there is the legend "ҚАЗАҚСТАН YЛТТЫҚ БАНКI" (National Bank of Kazakhstan).
Reverse:
On the back side of the coin, there is an official symbol of meeting Millenium in Kazakhstan, approved by the State Commission on preparation and holding the ceremonial welcome of the third millennium. At the bottom side of the coin the date "1999" indicates the year of coinage.
