Doina and Ion Aldea-Teodorovici – twin hearts
Ion Aldea Teodorovici (April 7, 1954, Leova - October 30, 1992, Coşereni) was a famous musician from the Republic of Moldova. He was killed along with his wife and musical partner Doina Aldea Teodorovici in a road accident in Coşereni; today, there is a monument to them there, as well as another in Chişinău.
Doina Aldea Teodorovici (November 15, 1958, Chişinău - October 30, 1992, Coşereni) was a famous musician from the Republic of Moldova. She was killed along with her husband and musical partner Ion Aldea Teodorovici in a road accident in Coşereni; today, there is a monument to them there, as well as another in Chişinău.

on the upper part – the year of issue „2010”;
on the bottom part -the inscription „50 LEI”;
following the coin circumference– the inscription „REPUBLICA MOLDOVA” is engraved in block letters.
Reverse:
on the central part – Doina and Ion Aldea-Teodorovici’s head;
in the circle – the inscription „DOINA ŞI ION ALDEA-TEODOROVICI DOUĂ INIMI GEMENE” is engraved in block letters.
